Before installation please make sure you have:
- Downloaded Navmii Installer for Windows Mobile
- Your device charged by at least 20%
- PC with Microsoft Windows operating system
- Card reader or USB cable to connect your device to PC*
*your device must support "Mass storage" connection type
Installation
Connect your mobile device to your PC by either USB cable or use a card reader connected to your PC.
If you connected using USB cable, select "Mass storage" connection type when prompted
STEP 1
On your PC, browse for the folder you downloaded navmii.exe at and run Navmii_UK_1.xx.exe to launch installer
STEP 2
Select your phone's flash card or internal drive as Destination Folder. Click "Install" to install the maps and application onto your phone's memory. If you cannot see your phone's flash card in the list of drives in "My Computer" you
need to connect your phone as "Mass Storage" and try again or use card reader
STEP 3. Very important one
Reboot your device
Go to http://www.navmii.com/activate.
Sign in using your email and password or create new account.
Click "Activate Purchased" button and fill in Activation form. You will need to enter your Device ID into the activation form. Device ID can be found in Navmii Preferences menu.
a) SMS Activation
If your device is able to receive SMS messages, you can use quick and easy SMS activation:
Run namvii, on the SMS activation form on navmii website, enter your mobile phone number and click "Send Activation SMS" button. Your key will be delivered to you withing several minutes and activates your copy. Navmii has to be restarted after activation completes.
b) Activation with the activation key
if you are using PC version of namvii or your device doesn't have phone capabilities download and save your activation key to the root of the flash card or your devices internal storage.
Activation keys have predefined names (GBI.key, IRL.key etc.),
please do not rename it after download!
STEP 4
Exit Navmii if it is running. Launch Navmii again to get maps activated with your activation key.
